Posted earlier about vehicle shutting off while driving. Started losing oil pressure while under load but not at an idle. So, I decided I needed a new oil pump(yeah, I know it's a fun job on these engines). So I finally get time to pull the pan and this is what I find in the pick up tube screen and in the oil pan:

I have seen bearings go before, but i have never had chunks this size in the oil pan and there was no, or at least minimal, engine noise prior to me starting the tear down. Any idea where this might be from? I haven't removed the timing cover yet, maybe there?
