I have a 98 expedition had a misfire in 4 had the plug replaced wires are new and it was ok for a few weeks now its doing it again no engine light but i have hesitation i have a code checker should I just replace the plug again, also should i maybe change the fuel filter to or is it something else making this happen that needs repair ,Also is it easy to change the exhaust or just have it done thanks.

If it is a misfire, it will throw a code. You might want to try and clean the MAF. If the Fuel Filter hasn't been changed in the last 30K miles, I would do that too.
As far as the exhaust...how handy are you? The old will most likely need to be cut off. The new can either be clamped back on or welded. It is much easier if you have a lift, but can be done on your back with it jacked up. Just depends on your skill level and amount of money you want to drop into it.

I have the code this is the second time it happen it like a month just was wondering what causes it i will clean the maf and change the fuel filter,as the exhuast it sounds gargly and when i shut it off it goes like blob ,blob blob lol thanks
