Mode 6 cheat sheet?

Been fighting a bad miss/hesitation on my ‘99 that will not kick a CEL so I ran a mode 6 test. I believe normally Tid 53 is for the missfire on ignition and they all passed but I did have 2 areas to fail

Tid 30 CID 12
and
Tid 41 Cid 12

I can’t find any detail on what area these may be for so I can start investing if this my issue. Any help out there?

I did a quick search for mode 6 info and as you said hardly any specific data is available. One article did mention that the early versions had tests that were specific to each manufacturer with a corresponding ID #. There is a possibility that the test is failing due to a component that isn't there.

It may help to look at the misfire counts for each cylinder.

I've been trying to pull the mode 6 tid 53 section for the misfire count but for some reason it fails to give me any misfire count on any of the cylinders.

It's Saturday so going to dig into it hard this morning to see what I can find.
