Mpg around town

Just brought a 1999 Eddie Bauer was wondering what everybody is getting with mpg around town nd highway

14-18 highway

average of 11mpg though. better then my V10 excursion!

10.5 to 12.5 in town depending on how aggressive I drive. I am sure if I "hyper-mile" it I could squeeze a few more mpgs.

Stock it averaged about 2mpg better.

Just bought a 2000 Eddie Bauer a month ago, 5.4L, 4X4 and getting 11.3 around town, 16 on highway keeping it under 70.

99 Expedition eddie bauer AWD4 5.4L 166K miles.

I averaged in normal city/hwy it get 14.73-16.4 But what I notice if you only drive less than 5-10 miles cold trip it HUGE impact. It was say 12-13 on mpg display.


Long Highway 55-60 mph it got 18.78 mpg after I replaced brake right now 16. I think bad brake caliper on driver side.

Pretty sure I could get 20 mpg if I had "2wd disengage system" like older expedition had.

Man, I get 11 mpg in town running 87 octane 15% ethanol in north TX. However, I did the Gotts air intake mod this past weekend and am taking my glorified Bronco on its first road trip this next weekend to a baseball tourney, so my expectations are high. I'll report back how she does.

Will also be boosting the tires to max air pressure - 44psi I believe.
