What kind of MPG do you get?

15.5 here, 5.4L, 3:73 gears mostly hwy.

4.6 13-14 MPG That's a mix of fast hwy and NY bumper to bumper...........

Average of 13 in city. I also have 3.73 gears

First tank: with ~50 city driving then from Colorado Springs (6k') to Copper mountain (11k') and back on one tank computer showed i averaged 14.9 MPG @ 70-80 MPH on the highway and skis on the roof.

Basically 13-14 MPG. A little higher in Summer.

All I know is the longer I drive, the lower may gas guage goes. When it goes to near 1/4 tank, I fill it back up.

I try to not think about that but its in the 14.5mpg range.

Best- 16.5 Hwy going 70mph

4.6 4wd 2000xlt 12-13 city 15-17 highway, but I look good doing it!! Besides, I don't own it for the gas mileage, if I did, I would still own the Festiva!

MPG is and never will be any good on these types of vehicles. I gas mine up when it gets down to half a tank. I like my vehicle for its looks, room, ride. Gas mpg was never an issue. No I am not rich and gas is not getting any cheaper. I just know what I like and as long as I can afford it I will keep and enjoy driving my BIG SUV.

Funny thing is, if you look at the milage for comaprable SUV's, they are about the same..

VW Toureg V8-14mpg city
Porche Cayenne 4.5L- 14 mpg city
Tahoe-14mpg
Explorer is almost the same.....

Some will get better than others, but I bet it's safe to say if you averaged all SUV's wityh V-8's, it would come in around 14mpg

SUV's are not made for good mileage, but for getting there in comfort!
