Has anyone put Mustang wheels on a first gen Expedition with wheel spacers/adapters?

it is not the same bolt pattern. mustang is 5 on 4 1/2, the expedition is metric and is a lot bigger bolt pattern.

Probably why he was asking about spacers/adapters.....:33: You can get adapters to change just about any bolt pattern, just not the amount of bolts. So technically it could probably, maybe, possibly, plausibly be done....

Honestly I would just find some aftermarket rims with the 5x135 bolt pattern that you like. Saves you a lot of time and headache. Like Lane said, it is probably possible, but you run the risk of compromising structural integrity, funky tire wear, and even possibly bending a rim... Mustang rims are probably plenty capable but they were not designed for a 6000lb truck with truck tires mounted to them.

I know when I used to have my Explorer, lots of people on the Explorer forum did it, but that was a straight swap.... but like FandP says... just go aftermarket. Seems a lot easier to me too.
