If you want help from Ford it will have to be at a Ford dealer. They won't pay a third party shop that I'm aware of. Also, it will be highly unlikely they cover it without looking at it which likely means paying teardown cost. They might offer some assistance but i wouldn't expect much. As others have stated a used engine is a good way to go even if you have to put phasers on it. You can usually get a warranty on used motors but they typically don't include labor, however the installing shop might offer one if they source the motor and not you.
