Meanwhile, back in the jungle....... The earlier models are chugging along just fine. My '09 EL XLT is doing just fine. Only minor things. Like the blend door from dash to floor vents is blocked and stripped the gear on the little motor. No big deal. I just use the dash vents for heat by directing them down. Engine, trans. Just fine.

I need to do a timing job on my 2010 Navi it's clicking on startup, the HVAC blend doors are clicking away, the paint is peeling off my Lincoln logo, and the brakes are about shot. Gets 16mpg if I baby it, if I floor it gets 12-13. Oh well I'll get around to it when I get around to it. Overall I still like it.
