Navigator LEDs on our Expeditions

Currently have a 2015 Ford Expedition with the LED foglights.
I love the look of them being DRL and got tired if always turning on the dogs during the day to get that appeal...
So I insteaded decided to reprogram the computer to use them as live DRL.Meaning there automatically on during anytime of the day without having to manually turn them on... Works great, But I noticed the same year navigators have a different style light assembly..... How anyone swapped a set of navigator light assemblies into our Expeditions?

They look like they would be a direct swap, and from what I’ve seen the LEDs are identical, as is the beam pattern. Is it strictly for the look?

No, for brightness , I see then on the road all the time, and they look way way brighter than ours on the expeditions... It's almost a night and day difference

Interesting. While I don’t encounter them that often, I’ve never noticed them being brighter. The headlights are clearly brighter, as they have factory HIDs, but the fog lights have always seemed identical other than the design to my eyes.

No aftermarket sealed LED projector units available from JW Speaker, Morimoto, or China generic for gen 3.5??


My chinky gen 3 projector fogs (technically for F150s) are extremely powerful
