Sup Guys,
I have been looking for a larger family car, drove the 2015 expy and pretty happy with it. Drove better then the Yukon, the inside is a bit plain but it is what is is.
1st Question: Should I expect to pay less than invoice for the car? The sheet also included a advertising fee of 1250. what is that about?

2nd question: I don't really tow anything or go offroad. My main reason for going full size is to put three small child seats in the rear bench and have trunk space. (and winter driving) Am I overdoing it with buying such a large car?

your advice is welcome

(1) There were ~$6,000 in rebates on new Ford vehicles back in May. If the rebates are considerably less now, you may want to wait to make a purchase if possible. If the dealer charges $1,250 advertising fee, find another dealer; one shady practice suggests there are many more.

(2) If you can live with a mini van, the Toyota Sienna is just as roomy and I believe the Dodge Caravan may be as well. You may also want to look at a Ford Flex. Although I don't go offroad or tow, I ultimately ended up returning to the Expedition after considering the above vehicles and more. For me it came down to the fact that I despise the way minivans drive. YMMV

6k in rebates is crazy! Now they have a deal with 0% APR which is similar when looking over the time of ownership
plus rebates

my wife didn't like the FLEX and can't put myself inside a minivan just yet...

1250 advertising fee is very shady. Definitely try another Ford dealer.

The smallest i would go with 3 child seats in back would be an Explorer and depending on the seats may not be big enough.

I much prefer the look of the big suvs over all the smaller ones and i prefer having real RWD/4WD vs FWD/AWD

My opinions on a few dealerships in NJ/PA (not sure where in NJ you are) ... Avoid Liccardi Ford. They charge a $1,000 internet fee and we test drove an Expy that was gushing coolant. Family Ford in Netcong and Performance Ford in Randolph are both really high pressure. Bill Marsh Ford in Newtown, PA is decent. They're pretty straightforward, willing to negotiate, and not high pressure. Ciocca Ford of Quakertown is decent to deal with also. No pressure, willing to deal, and dog friendly too so bring Fido along. Ray Price in Stroudsburg, PA is typically very competitive; just watch for the usual shell game in finance.

HI all.
I got a quote on a 2015 KR, MSRP 63, selling for 55. Is that a good rebate or can I get better if I haggle a bit more?
White KR, the dealer is about 180 miles away but it's the closest KR in white to me.
