Also just so everyone knows. I work for a tow company and intend to use this rig for beach recovery of stuck vehicles. Anything u all might recommend I do? Beside the mountain of things I already am doing?

I decided since I am doing timing set already.....to do head gaskets and everything not just the intake. Since its all apart anyway

The wires on 4.6/5.4 are pretty taut, I guess you could mix cylinders, but pretty unlikely. It's not like a 5.0/5.8 engine that has individual wires: distributor cap, that is very easy to mix up. And were assuming he did his one at at time. No we've deduced his problems are deeper than that. Read all the way to the beginning.

Hey guys long time since I've been on the forum. To the OP, I was throwing lean codes for both banks after first buying my expedition and I did the plugs coils etc. But changing the intake gaskets is what finally fixed my problem.

Good luck with your expedition and congrats on the new baby girl. My daughter loves cars, she hangs out while I fix our vehicles and I have a t shirt with a pic of a motor on it and she recognizes that it's the same motor under the hood of my summer car.

It amazes me how smart she is
