I put a 99 5.4 it my 98 expedition .Can some one tell is there any other parts need to be switch to make it run right. It run but ruff.

gonna need more info... like what all have you done with the swap... same motors or upgraded from 4.6 to 5.4.... and do you have any CELs??

what are CELs? The 1999s a 5.4 and the 1998 is a 5.4. the 99 has pi heads and the 98 dont have pi heads. truck is running ruff any suggestions?

put a 1999 motor in a 1998 and the truck is running very ruff. need some suggestion why. also what is CELs. both moters are 5.4 the 1999 have pi heads and the 1998 dont.
It should be a direct swap. Was the new engine running fine before you installed it in your truck? Are the pi heads an upgrade or just stock spec replacements? Is the roughness a low idle, a miss, or? A CEL is a check engine light which signifies it is throwing a code. If you have a code reader, or can take it somewhere to have the codes read, it would narrow it down. As much info as you can provide, the better our answers can be. Could be as simple as a missed vacuum line.

the new engine ran fine before I installed it in my truck. the pi heads are stock on the 99 motor. the roughness is low idle, and miss.No CEL .
