Need help installing a 2000 stereo into a 1997 Expy

Hey Guys, i bought a 2000yr stock stereo for my 1997 Expy becus it had a cheap stereo that was wired all messed up. So I want to install it into my 1997 BUT the wires color scheme dont match up! I thought they would but they dont. Anybody know where i can get the diagrams (color scheme) for both years of stereos. If I could just determine which is hot, ground, speakers, cd changer etc. I want the original type stereo so i can hook up my stock cd changer.



If any of you guys are stereo guys and live in So Cal, i will pay you to install the stereo.. Thanks guys

usually there is four sets of 2 like purple solid and purple with a stripe as well as green grey and white, those are for the speakers positive and negative, then you should have a yellow for memory(battery) a red for power and a black for ground. hope this helps somehow

Cool thanks for the help. Whomever installed the aftermarket stereo did a real number on it and cut up alot of the wires off the plug. thanks for the help. Now i gotta find an original 97 premium OEM stereo.

I have a 1998 "Mach" sound system head unit I just took out. Stock. I have the 6 cd changer and all if you want to make an offer. it should work just fine in your ride as long as you get the harness.
