I have found this site to be a wealth of knowledge.

I have an issue with my rear air.

No power getting to actuators for mode or blend door.
Fuses all good.

Worked great till about a month ago.

Took actuators out and set blend door to cold. Still no cold air..

Charge is good.

I need help finding where to check electrical system and also anything else to look for..

Blower motor works fine on both front and rear controls.

Front system is electric auto.

With the Expy running and the A/C on. Lay under the right rear of the truck and feel the A/C pipes that go into the rear A/C unit. Are they getting cold ?

How do you know the charge is good?
The eletrical will only control the blower fan speed and air temp from cold to hot. It will not make the rear evap cold.

My work has a a/c machine.
Hooked it up and had my shop check it for me..

Found some information about the thermostatic expansion valve on this site.
Sounds like it might be part of my problem.

At least the part with the rear system not getting cold.

But I do think I might also have an electrical gremlin some where also.

How cold is "cold"? You need to know what the ambient temp, static pressure, high side and low side pressures are while running.

One of my past jobs also had an ac machine. Everytime they hooked up they shot in one ounce of oil - and wondered why it just wouldn't cool any better.

There are ways to test the txv without removing it from the system.

The low side line should at least sweat if you have enough humidity. The low side line should get "damn thats cold".

Well the rear line gets as cold as the front ac line. To the touch.
Next time I have some time off I’ll get my temp gun out and check the lines...
Get an accurate temp reading
