I’ve been getting constant vibrations coming up through the steering wheel for a while now. The steering and handling on my expedition used to be fairly smooth. But now I can tell a noticeable difference whenever I take corners or hit the brakes at traffic lights. Everything’s rattling and making noises. So I took it in for an inspection, which turned out how I thought it would. The technician said the suspension components were pretty much shot and that’s why I was getting all the noise and vibration and that I need to seriously consider replacing my front and rear struts, preferably over the next few weeks. Which I was afraid it was going to be rather costly until I started searching online for parts. I figure I’d save myself some extra cash in addition to the cost of labor. While searching amazon I found a seller called apx auto parts. It seems like they specialize in suspension parts. And they have what I need in stock http://apxautoparts.com/sensen-fron...-03-06-ford-expedition-lifetime-warranty.html. But I’d still like to get some input. I do have a little time to think it over.

Welcome to the forum. I have never used this vendor but I'm sure another member can rate them. I looked up the parts and a complete set is under $160.00. That seems like a great price.

Did your mechanic check your tie rod ends and other front end parts to see if they need changing? It may be more than just struts and shocks. Good luck with the repair.

I second John's question, how are the tie rod ends, ball joints and wheel bearings? Sorry, i am not familiar with the vendor.

The APX link shows shocks/struts are SENSEN brand. Not a name I'm familiar with, so I googled and was able to quickly determine its not a brand I'd ever consider. I'd spend some time researching further.
