Anybody ever hear of an issue where changing out the battery caused the power door locks and remote to stop working? That is, it doesn't work from the button on the door OR the remote.

Thoughts? This is on a 2001 EB, 5.4L

You more than likely blew a fuse pulling the battery. Check them both in the distro box under the hood and fuse panel under dash. That whole system piggy backs on 3 different circuits.

mine has an odd non issue related to this. when I remove the pos terminal for more than a minute and re connect it. the acc delay relay is engaged. i have my radio acc trigger ran to that along with my radar detector so the radio stays on when I turn my key off untill I open the door. when I re connect the battery the radio turns on...

Ahh, I forgot to check fuses! I bet that's what it is, I'll check tonight. Thanks 98RedExp and bedrck46!
