New battery hookup, now my 6cd changer wont work

I installed a new battery today,and now the cd changer wont load any cds.i get a no cd message,as well as a cd load error message. Could this be a computer thing since the battery was disconnected for an hour? help !
May have cds in the changer.

Check the fuse or fuses for the radio/changer if they are separate, per the sticky in the electrical section here on the site.
