I saw these or something similar on Nevada's truck and they looked great so I ordered a couple and mounted them after finally getting a chance to wash my truck yesterday!

I like them....I especially like that it better describes the 3.5 engine better than "ecoboost" does!

Time is on your side 07xln. But your '17 is growlin' for the emblem. On a SW USA road trip with my 2017 Expy and totally impressed and loving every minute. I will post results including wife's reaction to passing a row of vehicles at 100+ mph. Spent the day at Grand Canyon and just love the ride!!

The emblems just emphasize the wonderful engine under the hood in these machines.

More later.

I'm on the fence too about putting on any more emblems. I tend to be a minimalist when it comes to that stuff. I like the way it looks, just don't know if I want it on my truck - something else to wax around. :)

Safe trip NG.

http://www.billetbadges.com/#high-quality-custom-emblems

F350Supercrewzer

No, I ordered them from different sellers on fleabay. I like the rear one best because it's high quality chrome plated metal. The side emblems couldn't be found in metal so I wavered and wavered until I realized that if they begin to flake or peel, I'll be able to remove & replace right over the same spot....hopefully, they will hold up well for a long long time!

Both types affix with 3M double sided tape so they can be removed but won't ever fall off.

I'm planning to do F150 limited badges down the rear quarter like they do with the limited/platinum/Harley Davidson version of the f150. Just waiting on a set of reasonably priced oem emblems.

Yup.....like others here, I've never been big on "blinging" my cars/trucks. I HATE bumper stickers on my vehicles but I did want to add something to personalize my truck a little I just didn't know what I wanted till I saw Nevada's....I figured that he lives 2,000 miles from me so it's all good<LOL>!

Gixxer....be careful with that many separate letters! These trucks DON'T sit level so if you have a friend take a 2ft level and hold it against the body while you stand back and look at it...it's going to look way off. Just a warning before you mount them perfectly level yet you find they look completely wrong because the truck doesn't sit level to begin with!!

Yeah I'm hoping the rear Windows can be used as a leveling point but I haven't even checked yet because I don't have the badges

When I put on the emblems, I used the trim on the quarter panel as the "level" of the vehicle. I measured the angle on that using a yardstick for uniformity and drew a line to install the emblem at that angle. Worked fine and looks good and "flush" with the vehicle.

I agree with Jeff that it does break up the plain-looking sides, but wish they were a better material than the chromed plastic. I too am not into bling trim and tend to be conservative on looks, but these look good.

Yes, about the only thing you can do is follow the body lines and line up on them, :) then it doesn't matter if the vehicle is level or not.

I used to feel uneasy about the ecoboost replacing v8s. But I haven't heard anyone who has one complain and they get awesome reviews on YouTube etc. Wish I had one. Awesome truck.

Welcome to the forum!

I am very happy with my EcoBoost. Clearly has more power than the old Triton 5.4 three valve I had in my 05. The 17 truck rides better and is quieter than the 05 too.
