Just won this little gem at the auction yesterday. Hoping to have delivered today to the detailer to have a full interior shampoo (with seat removal) and exterior buff/wax.

It's an 04' 4x4 Eddie Bauer with 130k miles. It was a ford dealer trade-in in mint condition that I scored for a steal.

Any tips or heads up about it or things to check for once it arrives. I had a buyer bid on it in person for me so I could only go on his word and my pictures but hopefully it's a good vehicle.

Plans are for a 3" lift and 33's or 35's with 17" wheels.

Immediate mods will be double din touch screen head unit with backup camera and possible speaker replacement if the factory ones sound like crap.

I heard the plugs are a b*tch to do on these. (something about they're sleeved and can get broken off in the head.) Is there a way to tell if they've been changed recently?

Welcome,

Not unless they tell you, I would just do new plugs.
Lots of You Tube Vids how to do properly and people on here to help.
