New Expedition- having issues

First of all, love all the detail and information on this Forum, thank you for letting me join. Driving my 2017 expedition today and it just stopped moving forward, like it was in neutral but didn't rev up from pushing the gas pedal down. Was only doing 35mph. The dashboard said to check manual. Immediately pulled over and turned the car off and back on, problem went away. What caused this and should I be concerned? Thank you in advance for any insight and direction.

Greetings....... I would assume your '17 is under warranty. Let a dealer deal with it. And, yes, you should be concerned.

Just got to love the drive by wire....

I would expect the ecm lost input from the gas pedal or output to the throttle body. Dealer time unless you can troubleshoot it yourself.
