Hey Everybody,
My name is Kris. New to the forum. Don't actually have an Expedition but am currently in the market and looking at 3rd gen EL 4wd models. I've driven a work car that was a '17 EL 4wd and was quite happy with it.
I'm not sure on the 3.5 or 5.4 liters yet, as cost also plays in. Vehicle will be going with me overseas and hopefully driving on undeveloped roads, deserts, and beaches. Temperatures are anticipated to be really hot (over 100 degrees) with variable quality gasoline available. Thoughts/wisdom are most welcome. We have a pretty big family and like to carry extra stuff so EL seems to provide a great fit for us, that is if it can survive overseas .
I've enjoyed the forum and am learning a lot . I hope it is okay I don't have an EX yet.
