Welcome! I'm from NS as well!! My Expedition Platinum 2020 is my second and while I really enjoy it, there are some features that I could do without...the running boards retracted for about 6 months but they are useless in our climate. Some of the safety features are a pain...alarms go off when the vehicle is turned off and my dogscare in the back...no way to disconnect so I have e to leave the tailgate open ( fortunately in kennels) but doesn't work for me. It is my dogmobile for dog shows... I would really like to disconnect some of these features but the local dealership is a pain ( I bought it used from a non Ford dealership) and they have been nasty to me ever since I moved here and 3 Ford's later... wishing you luck with your new one!!

They all seem to come with their wins and losses.
Sorry to hear you’ve had some quirks with yours.
I know the power steps will possible be an issue. I’m hoping to come up with some ideas on how to protect them in the winter months.
