Evenin' folks,

Here's the dirty:
1999 Navi: 158,000. Bought used from private party. Most navi owners aren't like me, I like to turn my own wrench (well, try at least) so I'm hoping you good exped folks don't kill me for posting here. :)

Situation:
Air ride - it's a boat on a choppy lake. I want to order the Monroe 90010 kit to replace the air ride to firm/stabilize it.

Question:
I'm going to order the parts from Amazon or rock auto and try to do it myself. I've tinkered enough with various trucks to generally figure stuff out. What else should I order? Ball joints? Bearings? I think everything is worn but nothing failing yet....just want to order whatever else I oughta in order to just "get it done now" while I'm in there tinkering with the suspension. I know I need an O2 sensor for lean code on bank two (I cleaned MAF, no go)...and brave (or stupid) enough to try something bigger if it makes sense for preventative maintenance.

Disclaimer: Not a mechanic. No lift. No engine hoist....but I do have a helluva socket set and access to rental tools.

Driving: Pavement and some light off-road for fishing and camping. No rock crawling. Family mobile.

Location (if you wanna swing by and point/laugh): Colorado Springs.

Thanks folks, appreciate any help you can give this newbie. Liking the platform so much I'll probably pick up a "real" expedition for more extreme stuff later. :)

Take care and thanks in advance.

O2 sensors are not the cause of the lean condition on that bank. Usually there is a leak that is sucking air in, causing the lean reading. Check for leaking gaskets or cracked manifold if plastic.

Also check all the vacuum lines/hoses around the intake manifold. I've seen cracked plastic lines and deteriorated rubber hoses.
