New here from Atlanta with a write up about how I fixed my faded cladding

Hey guys I just bought a 04 Expedition XLT and of course the cladding was faded and made the SUV look bad to me. I read several post trying to find the best solution to this besides buying new ones and couldn't find anything that worked. I finally got frustrated with trying to get the color back and painting that just scratched off to easy and started experimenting with different things and I found something that worked for me. My cladding was in very bad condition and I have before, during and after pics. I used brake fluid and poured a little on scotch brite pad and scrubbed the cladding til the white oxidation was gone. I removed the cladding from the expedition because "BRAKE FLUID WILL DAMAGE PAINT". Once I got the oxidation off I rinsed the panel with water, dried it off and then applied CAR WORX restoration refinish. I'm not sure how long this will hold up but I assume a while since the oxidation is removed and the restorer is like a sealer. This is a time consuming process, and Im not responsible if anyone tries this and causes any damage.

Wow what a crappy forum, only one welcome. I was just trying to help fellow expedition owners.

I introduced myself in a great way, but that's ok I've found better forums. Looking over this one I've seen complaints.
