Well, considering that the older Expy's came with OEM 275/55/20 tires in most cases (like my '011 EL did), then most of the factory rim sizes/widths should be relatively close between the various years....however, some models came with 18" & 22" rims too, but even then those should still fit....
OTOH, there have been many posts here about folks using rims from some F-150's, although some of them required spacers or cutting off a small section of the hub threads so the center caps would fit correctly.
There are also some other folks who added lift kits and have went up to 33" tires too, but that's a more involved process than just swapping factory parts, as it completely changes the whole geometry of the suspension system

The only other vehicles that have the 5x135 lug pattern are the 1997-03 F150, 1997-02 Navigator and Expedition.
