Hello, just recently joined I have received a lot of help from the forums before for my 2008 Expy and since I just bought a 2017 I decided to ahead and become a part of the family. Now I had my share of experiences with my 08’ Expy which it has been good to me with 190,000 miles with pretty much everything original, in the next couple of months I’m going to do a good engine overhaul so hopefully I’ll last me another 200,000

I been looking for long while for a newer Expy. But I really was skeptical about the smaller engine in it. This turbo everything nowadays keeps me kind of nervous. I did a lot of research before I bought my 17’Expy I just hope that I can enjoy it as long as I have owned my old one. So if you guys has owned your 2015-2017 Expeditions with the Ecoboost can you please give me any cons or what should I expect from this new engine so I can be aware and make it a long lasting experience. Thank you for your time and have a blessed holidays.

Welcome, from another Columbus 2017 owner. From what I've read you will want to add a oil separator asap. These small turbos produce a lot of blow by. Also check out the thread on forscan mods. You can tweak alot of stuff like turning day time running light's on, since Ford left them off. And if you don't have remote start, well you sorta do.
