Hi all, I've been a member for a while, and enjoy all the information that is shared on here. So far, I haven't had an issue to bring up...but recently, when I start my 2008 Expedition, I get a loud clicking coming from somewhere in the dash. It clicks 5 or 6 times, then stops. I can turn off the ignition, it stops, turn it back on and it clicks again. No alarms, no lights, no error codes, or anything that will give me an idea of what to check. Everything that I've checked works normally. Anyone have this problems? Any ideas, or what to check will be appreciated.

The blend doors have $40 ($15 for Chinese one that break again) actuator motors that can go bad. They have a small plastic gear train in them that breaks, causing them to go click-click-click as the gears slip trying to push the door into the selected position. They're held in with three screws and can be a bit difficult to access.
