Hey guys, just signed up today. I haven't bought my Expedition yet, but am searching and browsing for all the info I can find. I'm looking at the 2nd gen for my people/toy hauler. I just wanted to say hi and give an advance "Thank you" to every one with whatever info I find that can help me make my choice on which Expy I buy.

Thanks!

I really do like the 2nd gen, but the 3rd gen is nice too. Just too far out of my price range for what I want.

Welcome to the forum!
Hope you find the Expy you are looking for. Gen 2's are nice, but I am a gen 1 fan.

Thanks guys :happy160:

I'm going to check out a 2005 Eddie Bauer tomorrow. Brown with what looks like every option available except 2nd row captains chairs which is just as well because the girlfriend would rather have the bench. The only thing scaring me right now is that it is 173k miles. The good thing about the miles is they are asking $8200. Even KBB rates it around $12,000 with the mileage and options.

Cool:waytogo: It looks in the pic that it has been lowered. Is it?

maybe its has an air ride? I remember when i had the air ride in mine it would lower significantly.

That's how it sits with air ride

Holy Rollerz Christian Car Club (HRC3)

I had new tires put on and my friend said it has air ride. He said the compressor isn't kicking in when the car turns on. I've been searching, but only found one thread about how the relay was bad. I'm going to need to get some free time and check it out.

If you need a wiring diagram for the air ride system let me know I may be able to help
