Where can I find the little rubber door bumpers that are supposed to be on the doors? I'm missing a few here and there.....

Going in for a trans service tomorrow.

Why do I only get 13.5 mpg or so local driving?? Seems to me like it should do better than that.

I did clean the MAF Saturday and had the battery cables unhooked. How long does it take for the computer to "relearn"?

EDIT: oh yes, can anyone point me to the TSB for the transmission reflash?

Would check eBay for the rubber door bumper stops.

Not sure of the setup on your truck but I get about 12.4 mpg mixed driving so "average". I have a large gear basket on the roof that accounts for about ~0.8 mpg but other than that I'm basically stock aside from AT tires. The expy with a 5.4L gets about 12-14 mpg local or city and then will get anywhere from 14-20 mpg airing the highway... It all depends how it's driven, how well it's been taken care of, type of tires on it, and how much weight or resistance you have on/in it.
Overall, I'd say that 13.5 mpg is a pretty decent number seeing as it is about 0.5 mpg over what FoMoCo says the expedition will get in the city.

As for the MAF sensor I still have yet to clean mine or clean the throttle body/butterfly but I'm sure someone else will jump in with more info.

That's about what I get around town in my 07 EB EL. I get closer to 18 on the highway so it seems you're in the ballpark there.

Thanks for the input. Haven't had it on any decent road trips to speak of so can't say where I'm at on the highway. If I got 17 I'd be ecstatic!

Any input on my other questions?:sorrysign:

Well if you don't find the rubber stops at lowes or eBay... Just head to the junkyard I'm sure you could pull them off any car any they'll fit fine

just bought a 2007 excursion xlt 2007 for 6500. 145k miles, 2wd, tow package. only issue seems to be drivers side rear bumper guard needs replacing but it is in decent shape.

averaged 19.2 on the highway home. seems to be pretty good milage.
want some quiet touring tires any recommendations?

can I:
change out 6 cd change to a later model nav package?
change out the front seats to the limited version with seats that heat and cool?

any advice for maintenance suggestions?
thanks
mrks
