Hello All,
I came across this site while researching repairs/issues in regards to Expeditions and I found it extremely helpful and it seems that this is the "go to" place for questions and advise. Hopefully, I'll be able to give a little back over time as well.
About me (always hate this part)...I am a 37 y/o woman in Northern Virginia who has some knowledge about cars but not anywhere near as much as I'd like. One year ago, I purchased a 2000 Expedition Eddie Bauer edition (probably redundant but it has the 5.4L Triton, 4WD, tow package, etc.). It had just under 109,000 miles on it then but is just under 126,000 now. This is my first Expedition. Love the truck but unfortunately, as with many older used trucks, I've had may fair share of issues with it. I don't blame them on the make/model, just the age, previous maintenance (or lack thereof) and miles.
Anyway, I'll be posting another thread once I find the right place for it with a question I have in regards to an issue I'm having with it stalling in reverse. In the mean time, thanks for all the help/info I've received already from you all (without any of you even realizing it!) and I am looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Thanks - Rebecca
