New owner here. Just picked up a Gold 02 XLT yesterday. 5.4L, 4x4, 135,000, more or less bone stock.

Probably the most American car Ive ever owned. Steering is extremely vague, rides like a truck. Its great.

Looking forward to learning everything I can about my new baby here.

The vague steering has to do with the recirculating ball steering vs rack and pinion. It has very little feedback vs rack and pinion and is much less precise.
