Hello everyone,

We just purchased our first Expy a few weeks ago, it is 2015 King Ranch regular length and are really thrilled with our purchase. I have been looking for just the right Expy since July and finally found this one and couldn't be happier. The color and the 22" wheels sealed the deal. Main reason for getting the Expy was we want to be able to tow a travel tralier of decent size (~5000lbs range) and the Expy easily fits the bill with plenty of margin. I believe it is even quieter then the Buick Enclave we traded in and that is saying something...The Enclave was a nice ride.

Anyway, I have really enjoyed this forum so far and can tell there are plenty of great, knowledgeable people here offering great advice.

Jon

Thanks Andy!

It had just under 30K when we picked it up. It was the owner of the dealerships personal vehicle and very well maintained, looks spotless inside out. I dealt with him which was kind of neat as his grandfather started the dealership in 1912.

Very cool it looks like very nice truck. I really like the red. I was looking for Blue Jeans when I bought my truck, but I would gone with red, white, or blue. I'm in Fort Wayne and my dealership is Bob Thomas Ford, all they had in the EL was white and a short wheelbase black since I was upgrading from the standard, I wanted the EL and it had all of the options on it that I wanted. I am very happy with it so far.

Thanks everyone!

B-MCD - We love our GMC, been in my wife's family since early 80s. They past it to us in 2008 and I have been rebuilding it ever since. Been a real blast taking on road trips. Been as far as Yellowstone, been very reliable BUT need to keep up on the maintenance. Will are selling in the spring and will be getting a travel trailer...I know I will regret selling it but the wife is a bit tired of me tinkering with it all the time and I can't say I blame her. Anyway, will be nice to have a travel trailer and not have to work on it all the time.
