new to me 2024 Expedition King Ranch question

My old 2000 Expy let me down while on a long trip at roughly 280K miles. It's been a good truck...
I'm from Houston and this happened in a small town in Missouri. The tranny stopped working in forward. Reverse still worked. I cut my losses, called a dealer and bought the 2024 model.
Anyway, today I put it up on the rack for the 1st time just to look around. It's missing the cover over the engine. Is there an advantage to leaving it off? Also, it looks like there should have been a cover over the engine area underneath.
There is one covering the transmission. Is it missing OR is it just made that way?
Also, there is no insulation blanket under the hood. Same question.

There have been other posts on this forum regarding the engine cover. Apparently at one point, Ford discontinued the cover on the Expedition models as a cost-cutting measure.

If I recall correctly, some have posted that the mounting points are still present - so you could buy another one and install it?

The cover has noise reduction foam on the underside - which quieted the engine somewhat. The under-hood blanket is also used for noise reduction. I would buy another one and install it (you’ll need the clips also).

There is also a hush panel under the engine - probably removed by someone who was too lazy to reinstall it (or it was damaged from road debris)?

No 24 Expedition has an engine cover. My SPP doesnt either. I figure less useless weight. Nobody sees the engine anyway and if someone works underneath the hood, the engine cover is coming off anyway. So what’s the point putting it on first place?
