Just got back from 3 years living in Guam and gonna be stationed in Virginia for a few years, so the wife picked up a 2005 Expedition XLT with 135k and only one owner. Big upgrade over her 06 corolla..
Test drove fine besides either previous owner or dealership smoked in it. Literally 5 miles down the road it fell on its face soo hard and wouldn't even go without jerking and misfiring. Vacuum line was unplugged, plugged it back in and it helped, but took it back to dealership.
Ran mode6 and cylinder 7 misfire, watched mechanic replace all eight plugs. Only three broke, all were original and VERY worn. Now it drives WAY better, but I still ordered 8 new coil packs to also replace originals.
Plans so far are new shocks with maybe small lift. Leveling? I see that on the forum?
Hid fogs and lows. All bulbs to LEDs. And a black mesh grill pretty much like stock but no emblem.. haven't found one yet tho.. oh and weather tech floor mats.. pretty conservative overall, my car gets all the expensive goodies
