New update to APIM

Got an update two nights ago on the Expedition. There is now a linear tach under the speedometer on the instrument panel, and a few more options to select in the gauge area....including a clock if you so choose. BUT......now my coolant gauge is gone. And the RH steering wheel touch pad controls will not function for reverse, skip fwd, or play

What year is yours? I have a 2025 and haven't received the APIM update yet. I did get a BCM update a few days ago.

I have a 2025 and have not seen one either. I'm not sure how to push an update like I could on my GEN4 Expedition. I guess we have o wait. I'd love to have my tachometer back and even the clock would be a welcoming treat.

On Sync 3 vehicles, you were able to update the APIM yourself with a USB drive by grabbing the files from Ford's website. For Sync 4 and up, it can only be done with FDRS or wait for the OTA process which is completely unpredictable.

Been there many times. It's just frustrating because it's unpredictable.

update with a photo. this is not in sport mode. i had to go find in the settings to get the coolant gauge back, it's not shown in this picture. i can put more pictures up later. i don't drive it daily, it's wife's truck.

yes, i'm part of that program, but they don't feed us any info. Also, to answer another question, i had to go to the home screen and select android auto as the audio source to get the rev, play and skip buttons back on the steering wheel control

Will have to look for this, will be happy to get a clock up there.

What I'd really like to see is a setting option to have the side camera view pop up when the blind spot sensor senses a vehicle. I really like this feature when using the blinkers, think it would be even better as advanced warning.

I assume EA is Early Access. I signed up for it when the email came through but it's mostly been just feedback surveys for marketing crap.
