No plowing with a '14?

How come boss has plows for f150's, but not my '14? What's the fgawr of my expy?

The owners manual for my '08 says not to put a plow on it.

All the Expedition owners' manuals say no plows. Probably just the soccer-mom plastic bumper cover

I was just curious. I don't plan on putting a plow on, but I'm wondering why we can't. The place I work at sells plows and I was dicking around with the boss dealer website and I figured I'd look up our vehicles. I can't remember which years, but boss does sell plows for some of the early 3rd gens.

I don’t plan on flying my 2015 Expedition, but I’m wondering why we can’t?

Most of Fords plow prep packages come with a heavy duty alternator and bigger or two batteries. Such options aren’t available for the Expeditions and Ford likely deemed it not worth it to add since most don’t use passenger vehicles for plowing.

Here in Colorado Springs, the city has no small plow trucks. They're all big dump trucks. Like F650s. The only small ones are for parking lots.

We have a lot of 350's plowing where I live since most of the roads are private, very old, wooded, dead ends and not very wide.

We only got 78" of snow last season. Not worth getting a plow for! My single stage Toro handles my driveway just fine (unless it's heavy).
