i have a 2003 expedition EB, when i accelerate it sounds like a gargling noise or an old beater car with no muffler, someone said sounds like my muffler has a hole in it but i did the rag over the tailpipe test and there was a pressure buildup, so i dont think it is a hole. anyone have any ideas?

Possible exaust leak at the headers?? Im troubleshooting the same noise in my 05, tommorrow imma take the wheel off and check for build up or broken studs

I have to agree that it could likely be a header leak.

i dont understand how everyone with 03, 04, 05's are having these types of troubles with their trucks...
