So on my '11 expedition I noticed now that it is getting cold out when you open the door it has a real bad squeeking sound to it and it is sometimes hard to open and close. I can't imagine the hindges are going bad already. Should I be greasing the hindges with something? It is loud enough to heard down the street...

shoot a little white lithium grease on the hinge and call it a day.

I will do that. the only part I'm worried about is when it is at it's worst it feels like it is metal on metal almost like the hindge is bent or going bad... It only happens if I am parked nose down a hill and it's cold outside..

Mine does the same thing but on the drivers door and it also comes and goes. It will do it for a week and then its gone. I have spent alot of time tring to track down the noise and even tried greasing everything. My noise comes from the black thingy that stops the door from opening to far and the noise is behind my fender by the door.
