So I got the cable that supposed to work (I have a 2023 Expedition Limited Max), and it seems act like it fits, but it won't push on all the way.

I supported the connecter at the back to not stress it. Still, it would not go on.

Forscan will not recognize the vehicle.

Did I just get a bad cable, or the wrong one? The cable has 2 rows of 8 pins, which matches my OBD2 vehicle connector.

When you say cable you are referring to the scanner adapter? I have the OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter and it plugs right in. I also have the Vgate vLinker FS OBD2 USB Adapter for FORScan, which also works.

Yes, the adapter (male on one side and USB on the other). It's the EX101 model. None of the pins are bent. Not sure why it won't go on.

All can say is if you are using it for Forscn, get one of the approved OBDLink EX FORScan OBD or Vgate vLinker FS OBD2 USB Adapter. Both work perfect and are automatic switching. Almost all others have issues with writing changes.
