I'm an aircraft mechanic. Worked on Boeings, MDouglaus, Airbus etc for about 3 years. Then changed pace to a local airport and work mainly on prop planes for the last 12 years. I run the shop, order all the parts, and now scheduling all our jobs. The only time I fly is in a broken airplane and they're showing me the symptom- only if we can't duplicate it on the ground. Some problems only show up at high altitude when the air is thinner......

MSgt Sergeant in the Air Force, Aircraft Structural Maintenance, I maintain/repair the structural integrety on all aircraft owned by the Air Force. Everybody always turns to sheet-metal to get it up in the air!!

i beg to differ...i believe if they dont have the parts from "SUPPLY"...its not going anywhere....although backshop plays a vital role...but once your done if the part isnt there...the code 2/code 3 will still be a code 2/code 3

My brother and I own a beverage distribution company. We distribute everything from water to energy drinks to adult beverages... That way, you can drink an energy drink to stay awake at work, a couple of beers to relax after work, and then a bottle of water the next day should you have decided to drink too many of those beers!

Firefighter/EMT.

You call, we haul.

Same here. Been doing it for about 20 years now...

Guess I should add website owner/administrator to that as well. Been moderating/adminning web forums (mostly paintball related, lol) for several years and finally bought a few of them.

Heres the beauty of being sheet metal, we make all parts from flat pieces of metal, tubing, fiberglass, advanced composites or cable; whether it be bending, forming, shaping or bonding and we even paint the part.
The mission doesn't stop because supply doesn't have the part. Maintainers make it work; beg, borrow or steal, we adapt, and overcome!!!
