There is suppose to be two mega fuses right??????? My brother was looking at the truck to see why sometimes if i hit a hard bump the truck would die the come back on. So he said the plug going to the back of the alt was loose and when he touched it the truck just cut off. He sent me this pic and said the truck normally has 2 mega fuses, one for the battery and one for the alt. So i called the previous owner and he said the engine in my 97 was replaced with an engine from a 2000 and when the put it in that is how they hooked it up....... Wtf

According to my Ford wiring book there is only one on my 99. Protects the charging circuit.

That looks terrible btw. However yes my 97 has two large ones. Not sure what the newer ones have.

It does look a mess, but the truck is a 1997 but the engine is from a 2000 so that might the reason it has just one, i hope. And btw after i posted this i was driving home and the megafuse went on me....... In the middle of rush hour traffic, lucky there was a pep boys a block away who had 1 fuse left.
