The 2025 redesign sounds like the glitchy Sync 4a 15-inch screens on steroids! It may appeal to the younger crowd that was raised sucking on a computer mouse, but for "traditional" expedition buyers, the tech falls flat. Gone are simple big knobs for big hands, the easy push button controls and the overall simplicity. When I purchased my 2023 with the 15 inch screen, my first thought was Ford was trying to keep up with Tesla. Ford, stop tripping on your @%$* and come back down to earth.

If they want to ever see any of my large SUV money again they will need to build a good looking reliable truck with traditional driver controls.

You are likely correct, as usual.

I think manufacturers are racing to modify their interior dashes to include a huge touch-screen, and include as many controls as they can via the screen.

I also prefer traditional knobs and dials and despise using a touchscreen that requires multiple touches (at 70 mph) to increase or decreases the HVAC temperature or fan speed.

Even my 2015 Expedition Limited has the rear HVAC controls (via the front seat touch screen) that can only be adjusted by repeatedly screen clicks, with several sub-menus. I hate it and will never buy another vehicle (any size) with that type of controls.

I feel your pain.

Hehe, yeah I have a 2017 and the rear AC controls buried 3 layers deep on the touch screen pi$$ me off to no end, also the physical buttons for HVAC being at the very bottom of the center stack is also sub optimal. I actually enjoy the controls and guage layout on my 2011 more.
