Anyone know if there is a way to calibrate the temperature on the overhead console? Mine is a little off....the direction is fine but the temp acts goofy sometimes. Any help would be appreciated!

Bringing back an old post, but just in case there is a question in the future, hopefully it helps.....

The overhead console in the Gen 1 typically doesn't have a built-in feature for manual calibration of the temperature display. The temperature sensor is usually located outside the vehicle, often near the mirror or behind a small grille. It automatically updates with the ambient temperature and isn't user-calibrated like some other systems. But if the temperature reading can be reading it inaccurate. If it does read inaccurate, here a few things to do.

Check the external sensor and locate the outside air temperature sensor (it is usually on the front bumper or near the mirror). Make sure its clear of debris, etc.. Then make sure the sensor is mounted correctly away from direct sunlight or hot sources to make sure it reads accurate. Sometimes the wiring can be loose too, so make sure that its connected. If it is not working after that, then it might be a faulty sensor.
