2015 Expy ELT EL, 3.5 Turbo. Got the dang P0430 code and engine light, first time for any error in years of ownership. Clear the code, comes on again about 45 miles later. Engine light comes on 20-30 miles after that. Has been inspected and worked on at two different shops. There is no degradation in performance, it runs fine. No rattling. No hesitation on acceleration. No exhaust noise. Same good gas mileage. No exhaust smell or rotten egg smell.
Done so far:
Ran cat cleaner through gas tank - twice.
Replaced air cleaned.
Replaced spark plugs.
Finally - Replaced cat converter - Dynaflow brand.
Replaced both O2 sensors.
Neither mechanic detected any physical problem. No apparent leaks.
No oil burning, no coolent leaks detected.
Yet every time, the code comes back at about 45 miles.
Between my cheap ODBC reader, and their much more sophisticated readers, no other problems detected.
I'm about pulling my hair out (what little I have left).
Any more ideas?
