oops! What have I done now?
I recently replaced the rear brakes and rotors on my 2002 Expedition. It has 120,000 miles on it so I decided to replace the parking brake and hardware. Now that I am finished, when I set the parking brake the cable slides off of the metal keeper or lever at the shoes. It keeps coming off of the right side only. After reassymbling this several times the only thing that I can figure is that I bent this lever some how!
Any suggestions?
