I am looking to cut out my back cats and going to put on a performance muffler. I am new to all these performance mufflers, so here goes, I want a performance muffler but want to keep it kinda quiet, I don't want every critter hearing me coming from a mile. Any suggestions will be appricated.
Thank you!

I just put a Borla XR-1 on mine. It woke up the sound, but it's not over powering at all. It's still quiet going down the freeway.

If you are going for quiet, cutting out cats is not helping the cause. I have a glasspack dumped at the axle with all 4 cats still and it isn't super loud. The cats are like a whole other muffler

go on flowmaster.com and they have different series of mufflers and sound bites...they also tell how loud/soft you can expect it to be...
