I built it 2001 5.4 bare block,stock crank, gt40 pistons and rods 8.4cr,stock mustang heads and cams, 04 harley truck m112 blower,10lb lower pulley,ford racing gt500,oil pump and head gaskets, fordracing 90mm cold air intake, eletric cooling fan. will be running atound 14 to 16lbs boost. hoping for around 400 to 450RWHP.

Shouldn't you hit 14-16psi without the need of a 10lb lower? I figure you should hit that with a 2.8 upper and a 4lb lower with ease...

aren't you being a little conservative with that 400-450# or do you think that is going to be rear wheel #'s?

Funny the one that I got in my *******-jack box wasn't that big... Nice... But post a youtube when you have it running... I'm not so sure that's not a clay model of a motor... ? :waytogo:

now i know what i want. kind of. haha i still want that Twin Turbo navi motor, but if i can find a lightning motor, kind of, for cheap i wouldnt mind it. i like it! do a write up, or at least pics of progress! i cant wait to see what that thing does in the dirt! and welcome to the site!

Awesome kentv6. I have similar plans in the works. I already have a 2003 lightning upper supercharger assembly. In the process of gathering all the other items necessary to complete the swap. I also plan to build the short block to hold up to the boost reliably. Looking for similar hp figures. My main concern then be the tranny and converter. Will have to do a little more research there. It needs to be reliable as a daily driver plus tow in the heat of the summer without issues.

That is beautiful! I priced out a Trick Flow head set for the truck today...ouch. And the wife thought the Mustang was expensive!
