how do you get sound to come from the vcr to play thru the stereo....
please help....need sound!!!

vcr?! huh? hahaha
there should be outputs on it. and you can set those up to the deck to play. stock deck usually has a tape player so you can set it in there with a tape deck thingy. or if you have aftermarket there is usually some sort of input and just connect it in there.

It should be running through one of the AUX plugs in the back of the head unit. If you can't find it, then you need to check the connections on the back of the VCR and the head unit.

Huh?.....it the stock stereo...didnt the expys come with a vcr flip down option....im prolly not going to put a new deck in until i can afford a nice one with gps and dvd...i thought there would just be a butten or when you put a tape that it would just automatically start playin thru the speakers....

To play anything threw the stereo it has to be plugged into the stereo somewhere. I know in mine it runs threw my stereo but I can also put it on headphones and my girls can watch their movie with the head phones while I listen to my music.

ok got it figured out...did some googling and found out that the vcr broadcast signal thru the radio...mine was 89.1....
so thanks for nothing ya'll.............
