I stick with Motorcraft plugs myself. No particular reason other than they are Ford's recommended plug, and I can get them at O'Reilly.

NGK's tr6 for me! And the only other plug I'd use is motcraft. I've work on a lot of expy's with popped plugs and it seems like they all had non motor craft plugs in common. Could be coincidence thoe.....

I have worked for the big 3 (Ford,GM,CJD) for the last 20 years. I can say that most of all the cars that we worked on only got the OEM plugs. My 2005 Expedition has 124000 miles and is 8 years old, I had the plugs replaced last week. It had the original 3 piece plugs, you can just about take a wooden match stick and stick between the electrode and plug end. We have found that a lot of people spend lots of money for a aftermarket plug and not get the service they can with a stock factory plug
