Ok, I have a 2008 Expedition EL King Ranch...
(1) I just recently purchased a power fold mirror switch. My KR has the heated, memory mirrors already. My question is this (1 of many) do I need to purchase a different motor to operate the power fold option? I also have Vol. 1 & 2, and the Wiring Diagram FORD OEM service manuals. I tried to initialize (if you will) the power fold option after installing the switch and nothing. Or do I need to have my computer flashed?
(2) My second issue is this, we recently just replaced both driver and passenger side power window motors and regulators. Now, I have tried the reinitialization for the Auto window function and the auto function works very infrequently. Does this mean a bad switch?
(3) Also, can anyone tell me why I hear a ticking sound coming from the engine area when I accelerate? I thought maybe a PCV valve issue, but that brought up another topic...do the 2008 Expo's have PVC valves? The ticking only occurs when accelerating.
I apologize for all these questions at once...I'm trying to keep from taking it to the dealer until the last resort!!
Thanks,
Matt
